This spring has been a wonderful and busy season for us. We enjoy the goat kidding (birthing) season and having so many little babies running around! It's hard to believe that it's almost over! The weather had been staying delightfully cool for a typical South Georgia spring until last weekend when it sky-rocketed up to 101 degrees (which Isaac jokingly mentioned was 101 reasons to stay inside). We had a lot of work to do so we definitely weren't going to miss out on the heat! Praise the Lord for all of His blessings all year long! Enjoy the pictures!
Heading into the bee hives!
During spring, farm visits for our baby animals are almost weekly!
Our weekly Monday ministry at a local nursing home.
Fun fellowship with friends!
More fellowship with wonderful friends, God's blessings!
Morgan's birthday!
Isaac took a very difficult exam-and passed! We celebrated by going out to dinner that night (unfortunately, Dad wasn't able to join us since he was in Virginia).
Benjamin & Mom's shopping day!
A mushroom/fungi/science experiment!
Luke's birthday! On his birthday last year, we were right in the middle of building new animal pens at our house (when we were moving in), so we went to Panda Express that night since we didn't have time to cook a meal! Luke thought it would be neat to go back to Panda Express for his birthday this year as a remembrance of last year!
We had a field trip at our farm for local residents at an assisted living home. They greatly enjoyed it, and since it was held on Mom's birthday, we had a small party with pizza and a cake (kindly brought by the directors)!
Our bees decided to swarm-this is one of the many ways the tractor comes in handy!!
Enjoying the baby goats with a friend
Our property has been in full bloom this spring! We are loving all the flowers.
Luke has been doing a great job pressure washing the house- it's looking better already.
Snake season! We always enjoy finding them around the farm (non-poisonous, that is :)).

Our newest farm additions- ten Guinea keets!

Stump removal process! Please forgive the blurriness of the pictures, it hadn't rained for several weeks, so it was very dusty! Special thanks to Morgan and Mom who do a lot of the work in the house so we can spend more time working around the farm.

I will sing praise to my God while I have my being."
