Happy Resurrection Sunday!

He is Risen!
What a joy and blessing it is to know that our Savior is indeed risen and has conquered sin and death on our behalf!  We thank God for His gracious gift of redemption and the price that he paid for it.

This morning during our sunrise service, it was incredible, yet hard, trying to imagine what it must have been like that morning when Christ arose.  "He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay," (Matthew 28:6).  To think of the amazing hope and joy that filled the hearts of those that loved Jesus after grieving Him as dead!  Praise God for the hope we have because of Jesus rising from the dead!  Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Below are links to some of our favorite Easter songs on video.  We pray they bless you and give you hope even through this time of difficulty in our nation and world!  May the faithfulness of our VERY FAITHFUL God conquer any fear you may have!

Winter Days

By: Erin

This mild winter passed by way too fast, and it seems almost unbelievable that we're already saying "Happy Spring" to each other.  We also welcomed seven baby goats into the world in one week!  Nevertheless, we are enjoying each spring day and the excitement that this season brings.  From daffodils to blueberry blossoms, budding fruit trees to azaleas, and blooming weeds, our property is alive with color!  We look forward to what the Lord has in plan for us this spring!

Perhaps the reason why winter seemed to pass by so quickly was because it was chock full of activity, ministry, and family time.  The pictures below summarize our winter days!

Wrapping presents together!

Enjoying a family game on Christmas Day

Benjamin & Joseph on new, fun workout tools -- Pogo sticks!!

Another beautiful sunrise!

Daffodil always enjoys the high places!

New Year's dinner!

The second week of January, our sun room roof blew off, so we spent several days working on it.  The first day we had to work until 10 pm due to the forecast calling for rain!  Everyone pitched in and did a great job!

One morning, when the roof work was still in progress, we had some Georgia snow (frost!), so Isaac made a mini snowman!  Its arms are roofing nails and its mouth and eyes are bits of shingles!

My birthday!

Continued progress on the barn...

Daffodil likes Settlers of CATan! :)

Two of Mom's brothers came to visit one evening and we enjoyed showing them around the farm!!

In January, Luke got three more rabbits to bring in new bloodlines for his little herd.

It was so exciting to begin putting up siding on the second floor of the barn!

Joseph & Jiggers

Enjoying the warmth of the fire!

One of Luke's new rabbits, Sweet Pea, getting her first photo shoot.

New baby rabbits!

I was excited to get my braces off in January!  Between Morgan, Isaac, and I, we've been going to the orthodontist office for almost eight years.  Dr. Waters always does a great job!

Notice the rainbow in the distance!

Making Mexican food together with our wonderful aunt...

...then enjoying it!

Continued progress on the barn.

Dad's birthday!

Harp & cello duets are some of our favorites.

Luke and I did a photo shoot of some baby rabbits.

Special delivery!

This rabbit is preparing a nest for her babies!

Luke has started teaching Benjamin violin!

We celebrated Luke's graduation together one Sunday afternoon (after the main celebration) with a delicious meal and some gifts.

As part of the celebration we read letters that we'd written for him.

Dad, Mom, & Luke with his diploma!

This is our hay loft (in the works!), so between the big window and cozy hay, it'll be a nice place to take a break!

Judge loves spending time with us!

We always love spending time with friends!

After playing games, we took some team pictures!

This is when it wasn't Daylight Savings Time yet!

More wonderful times spent with wonderful people!

Practice time!

Luke & Mom going out to lunch together.

It rained so hard, we almost had to start using our canoes and kayaks!

Isaac's new pet - a Leopard Gecko named Kiwi!

Sadly, Mom's brother-in-law passed away, so Dad, Mom, Morgan, Benjamin, & Joseph drove to North Georgia for the funeral.

Joseph and Benjamin enjoyed playing with their dogs

Getting teeth cleaned at the dentist!

New baby goats!

Joseph loves puzzles!

Morgan's birthday!

One of our favorite desserts!

One of our goats had a bad delivery, so one baby died at birth.  Our wonderful guardian dog, Judge, stayed next to that baby until we removed it.

Due to the virus affecting a lot of things, we haven't been able to go in the nursing homes.  One place has let us come and sing outside of the windows to the residents!

We got a shipment of bees in recently, and in the picture below, Isaac and Luke are putting them into their new hives.

Jiggers loves being a barn cat and is very good at catching mice!

Here are some pictures from around the farm...!
