Well, it's time to play a bit of catch-up! We've been blessed with a full and busy past several months. God has blessed us abundantly and we're so grateful!
Christmas 🌟
Luke & Chief have many adventures together!
Fun times together!
Benjamin and Joseph enjoyed visiting a local historical site with Mom.
Fun times with my wild horses!
Incredible friends of ours came down with their equipment to help put up a few thousand feet of fencing to expand the mustangs' field. We had the best time ever working together over the weekend! With all the machinery running, we're so thankful for God's protection!
We worked late into the night on the last day - so many hard, dedicated workers!
We enjoyed a visit from out-of-state friends!
An evening service concert at a local church...
Mom and Justice (aka "Fluffy")
Easter morning at Church!
Luke's birthday!
Celebrating Mom's birthday! (Isaac makes some fabulous steaks 😋)
We were honored to be able to attend Ron Hamilton's Memorial Service. It was beautiful.
We had many farm projects over the past several months!
Benjamin's 13th birthday!
Isaac's birthday!
This year, Isaac has fostered and raised seven kittens for a local organization!
Fun times at a church fellowship event!
Isaac bought ocean kayaks and we've been enjoying paddling out to nearby islands. Isaac and I have had some incredibly exciting adventures going to Cumberland Island. (Learn more here!)
In late July/early August, we took our annual vacation to Virginia!
We first stopped at a friend's house in Richmond. We had a lot of fun together!
Isaac and I woke up very early (3:30 a.m.) one morning to hike Sharp Top and watch the sunrise. The experience was totally worth the early morning!
Sharp Top's shadow on the surrounding mountains.
We enjoyed some touring/shopping in Lexington, Virginia.
It's always great to see our wonderful Aunt Elizabeth!
Our 7th annual kayaking trip on the James River! Such a beautiful day in God's creation.
The river was beautiful and very clear.
One day, we also visited the Virginia Safari Park, a place we had loved when we used to live in Virginia. This park does an incredible job of focusing on conservation and you can tell their animals are very happy.
Well, maybe not the Llamas...😬
Gotta love the cow photo bomb!
The budgies were a favorite! It seemed like the designated photo booth!
Towards the end of our trip, we visited the caverns at Natural Bridge Station.
The rooms were breathtaking!
The last day of the trip was spent going to church with friends and then heading home!
Blessed times with more friends!
We've had a busy summer with lots of farm tours.
Celebrating Mom and Dad's 32nd Anniversary!
"I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me,
therefore will I call upon him as long as I live."
(Psalm 116:1-2)
