Spring was so much fun with lots of baby animals, farm projects (with deadlines), trip planning, and many other things! We're thankful that God sent a cooler spring season than normal, thus working outside wasn't unbearable! Although spring temperatures are typically between 70 - 80 degrees, it's very humid here. (As a side note, on the morning we left for our trip out west it was very hot, but the next day in Yellowstone it snowed! What a change in weather!)

We have continued having church services outside a nearby assisted living home on Sundays, but have moved to a different area now.
Luke bought a Dutch Oven to bring on our trip! Here, he is trying out different recipes and getting used to how it works.

Dad made us dinner one night!
After a very wet month, the frogs lay a lot of eggs, then we have hundreds of tadpoles in our pond and in various puddles! It looks like tadpole migration as they move to different areas of the pond!

Mom has been doing a great job planting and taking care of our little garden, with Joseph, Morgan, and Benjamin's help!

Our guineas laid a lot of eggs and hatched many of them. These were just the beginning! Right now we have 42 guinea eggs in the incubator.

We got 27 new chicks in a few months ago. Someone told us that colored eggs (brown, white, blue, pink, green, etc.) sold better, so we decided to see if it actually works! Here is a little Easter Egger chick!

We are now doing our church services under the awning. It's much cooler and easier, so we're very thankful for that!
Some of the new chicks that came in were bantams (Luke has always wanted some, so he got a few). We've enjoyed holding them to make them friendlier!

We almost completed the goat pens at the point in this picture, but we had to move the chicken coop over. That was one long, hard day - but we did it! Very rewarding!

And would you believe we got the horse trailer stuck right there? The tractor couldn't even pull it out because the axle was stuck on a stump! Isaac and I jacked the trailer up and put wood under the wheels, so that the trailer would be picked up above the stump. Then, we successfully pulled it out!

This is all of the luggage we had to pack on our trip since we took all of our own camping supplies. Someone walked by us in the airport and said, "That is the most bags I have ever seen anyone take in my life!" We just like to make our vacations exciting! 😀
