Winter Days

Winter has always been one of  my favorite times of the year.  Between the cooler weather that reminds us the intense summer heat won't last forever, and the chance of getting some snow makes it a wonderful season.  These pictures show what we've been doing this past winter!

Isaac and Luke went on a business trip to Kansas.  Since they were away, Mom, Morgan, Benjamin, Joseph, and I went shopping together and had lunch out.

Recently, we had so much rain (and still are!) that I could kayak in one of the puddles!

We had a Christmas concert at a nursing home nearby.  It's always a blessing to play together and bless others.

Our newest farm tool!  Since moving out to our new property, we've been needing to get some farm equipment and this has already been a huge help!

Morgan, Isaac, Luke, and I volunteered for the Compassion Experience.  It allows people to step into the life of children who live in third-world countries.  We really enjoyed spending time together doing this.

We've had some cold days recently!  Benjamin found the dogs' water bowl iced over!
