We had a wonderful, fun spring this year filled with lots of surprises and baby animals! We were finally allowed to visit our friends in the nursing homes again - praise God! We also worked hard preparing and planting our garden, picked up two adorable German Shepherd Puppies, celebrated birthdays, enjoyed God's beautiful creation, visited with friends and family, celebrated Independence Day, and braced ourselves for hot and humid weather. 🥵 Here's a recap...
New baby rabbits

First sprouts in the garden
Beautiful, clear day at our farm!
Picking up Chief near Stone Mountain, Georgia
After picking Chief up, Mom, Joseph, Benjamin, and I hiked Stone Mountain.
This steep climb was one of the best parts!
We enjoyed a beautiful sunset on our way home.
This spring/summer has been very rainy. Our property is already low, and it has a very hard time soaking up all of the water, so we often have several small ponds...😁
Mom's birthday.
Visiting our friends in the nursing home.
This little baby goat, America, needed to be bottle fed, which she was very happy about!
One of Luke's rabbits had eight babies!
We picked Jewel up from South Carolina in early May. She did not like to be held!
Chief was actually scared of Jewel when we brought her home, and wanted nothing to do with her. That changed within an hour!
We had some friends over for dinner and they enjoyed meeting the eight baby rabbits.
Visiting our friends at their Assisted Living Home.
We couldn't leave Jewel in the car alone...😬
Benjamin is a great help and works very hard!
Benjamin's birthday.
Our friends from the assisted living home came over for a farm field trip. All of us had a wonderful time!
Everyone loved the baby rabbits!
Relaxing by the pond with my puppy.
A recent project of mine has been working on one of our fields (and other areas) for the mustang and burro rescue coming soon.
Here, Jewel is listening to the bugs chewing up the dead logs!
Our Aunt Geralyn came to visit us in June. We took her to our favorite place in Savannah, Fort Pulaski, and the next day she came to our farm.
We are so grateful that it was a beautiful day!
Telling stories...
The eight babies came in for a visit! Hazel was thrilled!
Morgan and Joseph playing a duet outside for the residents.
Independence Day!
Isaac's Birthday
Jewel and Chief growing big!
This snake was in our chicken coop. Now we know why we were getting less eggs...
This little hen raised her baby and it's been really cute to see them together.
Benjamin and I have done a lot of work weeding in the garden this summer.
The eight babies are all grown up!
"I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High."
